We have a two-pronged services model.  For smaller organizations without in-house IT support, we can provide a total solution to help you focus on growing your business.  For larger organizations with in-house support staff, our model is based on knowledge transfer, where we fill in niche technology needs, quickly ramp-up and enable your staff to support key technologies which they may not work with on a daily basis.

Valley Network Solutions provides services in the following key areas:

1. Network Consulting, Design & Integration: our broadest set of offerings, and our bread and butter - from the planning and design of simple to highly fault-tolerant networks, we can provide you with a complete solution.  These services include planning, design, implementation and support of simple systems to highly fault-tolerant networks. We offer a complete solution, including acquisition and integration and support of hardware and software systems running Windows, Citrix, Unix, and Novell. Our LAN/WAN expertise ranges from wireless to secure, gigabit-based firewalled systems

2. Voice & Data Cabling Infrastructure Services: design and implementation of structured Category 5e/6 cabling, wireless and fiber-optic systems, and rack-based solutions from small offices, to enterprise level systems. All VNS Infrastructure Services are tested, and certified according to ANSI\EIA\TIA standards, and carry a LIFETIME warranty for workmanship.

3. NetCare^TM Managed Services: Our NetCare™ managed service program (MSP) allows trained and experienced VNS systems engineers to act as your virtual IT staff.  In addition to proactive, regularly-scheduled service visits from your assigned SE, we monitor and act proactively to keep your computer network alive and healthy.  Phone and email support is provided between visits to help keep you covered.  NetCare™ gives you all the benefits of a full-time IT staff without the overhead.

4. Computer Telephony (VoIP): We specialize in today's leading computer-based telephony and voice-over IP systems such as solutions from Avaya, Cisco, Mitel, and Covad (GoBeam).

5. Warranty and Repair Services: We are an authorized repair center for HP/Compaq, IBM, Xerox, and Okidata products, and can provide repair services for most computer products and printers.

Network Consulting, Design and Integration Services

Today's networks have evolved into business critical tools that are vital to the health of a business.  The widespread adoption of the Internet has only underscored the value of a network.  Lack of a well designed and secure network can be a major detriment to a company.

Network Engineering designs and solutions must take into account the varying aspects of your business and needs, along with your existing infrastructure. We realize that you have money invested in existing systems and our designs will include integration of those systems into any design we provide.

Solutions include file servers, backup systems, anti-virus solutions, spam control systems, web content filtering, email servers, LAN switching solutions, WAN routing solutions and router configuration services, wireless site surveys and deployments, virus cleaning and eradication, network security assessments, automated installation and imaging solutions, and advanced network management solutions.

Infrastructure Services

Professional design, installation and termination of Category 3/5/5e/6 (Ethernet) and fiber-optic installations for small and medium businesses, as well as clients with home offices that wish to "future-proof" their homes and home offices.  VNS also designs and installs today's latest network infrastructures which include wireless LAN and WAN technologies.

VNS provides physical layer networking services of the highest caliber. Our extensive experience in the data networking industry makes us unique in a field dominated by electrical and telecommunications contractors. Since 1996, we have designed and built structured cabling, fiber-optic and wireless systems capable of satisfying our customers' current communications needs and the demands of their businesses into the future.  And, our cabling installations carry a lifetime warranty!

NetCare^TM Managed Services

VNS NetCare™ Managed services (MSP) allows VNS to proactively support small businesses and provide them with the support services that are normally afforded to larger organizations with full-time IT staff, at a fraction of the cost.  In addition to regularly scheduled, proactive service visits, we can monitor and manage your network remotely at our Network Operations Center (NOC).  This can give your company a virtual network support staff and the peace of mind that comes with knowing you'll be supported when you need it the most.

Computer Telephony

We provide technologically innovative, cost-effective solutions for our customers voice needs, which seamlessly integrate with the data networks and infrastructure which they've already invested in, to provide reliable, cost-effective, feature-rich solutions for your business telephone needs.

VNS is one of the valley's first true computer telephony integrators.  However, our vision of computer telephony is a bit different than the traditional definition.  We don't take yesterday's technology and try to force it to integrate with today's client/server based network solutions.  We see telephone services gradually becoming part of the network realm.  The growth of voice over IP (VOIP) technology is testament to this change.  Having provided network-based voice solutions since 1996, we have a significant amount of experience integrating today's latest technologies with our customer's computer networks.  This consolidation allows customers to save costs by maintaining ONE (data) network, and provides completely digital end-to-end voice quality.

Warranty and Repair Services

Although this may not be the most glamorous service, we have always seen warranty and post-warranty shop services as a requirement to doing business.  It's nice to know that we support what we sell, and that when you buy a solution from VNS, you're able to have a one-stop solution.
