DPoE Power Patch Panel

The DPoE Power Patch Panel is a reliable, cost effective network component that capitalizes on the opportunities of the convergence of data and Power over Ethernet (PoE). The innovative space saving 1RU patch panel design saves valuable rack space in both telecommunications rooms and data centers and is ideal for high density PoE deployment in space-constrained locations. This DC power based design, which has better power efficiency than AC power based solutions, is capable of supplying all 24 ports full power, eliminating the need to balance the power load. The DPoE Power Patch Panel supports both IEEE 802.3af and Cisco Inline Protocol (CIP) power schemes on a port-by-port basis. In the event of a power disruption, the port prioritization capabilities of the DPoE Power Patch Panel ensure that critical applications like Voice over IP phones and wireless access remain online and available for use.

The DPoE Power System is a 1RU scalable DC power source capable of supporting from 1 to 14 DPoE Power Patch Panels. The hot swappable power supplies allow rectifiers to be managed without taking down running applications over the network. The DPoE Power System consists of:

Panview Managed Network Solutions

PANVIEW™ is the premiere system for instantly tracking patch field changes by triggering alerts and dynamically updating the patch field database. Moves, adds and changes are planned, prioritized and assigned to technicians who are guided through changes by LEDs on the patch panel to ensure accuracy and monitor the time necessary to complete the task while simultaneously updating the database to reflect the new configuration. PANVIEW™ Physical Layer Management System has been shown to improve network asset utilization through the reduction in lost and unclaimed resources.

The PanView software is based on client/server architecture and provides valuable information in an easy to use format. The software ensures the information is 100% accurate by automatically updating the database whenever there is a connectivity change. It has several different modules that allow single user changes or complete department moves with just a few clicks. In addition, the software provides seamless integration into select network management programs, documents asset utilization, and tracks the movement of network assets using the PanMap™ module.

10 Gigabit Ethernet Over Copper

Panduit Synergist 10GIG Copper Cabling System delivers a true, end-to-end 10 Gigabit Ethernet solution. Each component features innovative complementary design technologies that work together to achieve optimum performance. Modular and scalable, the SYNERGIST™ 10GIG™ Copper Cabling System provides a cost effective media for high bandwidth data center (switch to switch links, storage area networks, aggregation of data), workstation (transfer of work group files, scientific modeling) and converged technologies (live video/audio broadcasting, Voice over IP).

This system provides certified performance in a 4-connector channel up to 100 meters and exceeds the requirements of the 10 Gigabit Draft 1.0 amendment to IEEE Std. 802.3an, dated October 2004. The components work together to suppress Alien NEXT while providing Class E/Category 6 augmented electrical performance beyond 500 MHz. The SYNERGIST™ 10GIG™ Copper Cabling System consists of:
