VNS Names Joe Galba as Director of Sales & Operations

Industry Veteran Brings Sales and Operations Experience to Fast-Growing Company

Fresno, California - November 1, 2004 -- Valley Network Solutions (VNS), Central California's leading network integration firm, today announced it has appointed Joe Galba as Director of Sales and Operations. With more than 20 years of experience managing teams and growing sales and market share for a variety of companies, Galba brings to VNS the successful track record and experience required to allow the company to continue it's growth.

Joe Galba, Director of Sales & Operations Galba will lead the VNS sales efforts and manage the rapidly expanding team that delivers VNS solutions to market. Over 2,500 customers in cities throughout the Central Valley use VNS for their network integration service and products partner.

Before assuming the position as Director of Sales & Operations, Galba was National Sales Director at OptiStreams, Inc., a national Satellite internet sales company. Prior to that, Galba was Director of Sales with Infinet Broadband, another wireless Internet connectivity provider. Galba has also held executive sales positions at MCI/Worldcom, SBC/Pac Bell, and Microsource.

In his role as Director of Sales and Operations, Joe will oversee all the strategic and commercial aspects of VNS's sales activity in the region, and will aim to both grow the company’s market share and develop long-term strategic relationships.

In the course of a diverse 20-year career in all aspects of sales, sales management, and operational management, Joe Galba has proven to be a skilled manager, a visionary, trouble-shooter, and turnaround expert. Prior to his entry into the technology sector, he served as Area Operations Manager for the Huffy Corporation. During his ten year career at Huffy he managed rapid business growth with full P&L responsibility.

Joe has developed successful strategic plans for start up businesses and programs to help them work more efficiently and realize strong steady growth and profits. He has worked in Technology for many years with experience in phone systems, data transfer technologies such as T1’s, networking equipment and software, Internet applications, voice applications, wireless networking, security systems and alarm systems.

Joe attended college in San Diego as a music major and has been playing music since he was 12 years old both as a hobby and professionally. Joe holds an equivalent to a Master’s degree in telecommunications and has held a Cisco Certified Design Associate certificate. Joe is completing a program at Colorado Technical University to complete a BS/BA with a concentration in information technology.
